Who we are
This website is operated by BeChangeMaker, a global social entrepreneurship programme. BeChangeMaker was launched in 2017 by WorldSkills International with the HP Foundation and UNESCO-UNEVOC, and from 2027 is coordinated by YMCA Europe. BeChangeMaker is the controller responsible for personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at info@bechangemaker.global.
What information we collect
This website does not host a data-collection form and does not require you to create an account. When you select “Be Part of BeChangeMaker,” “Join the waitlist,” “Stay connected,” or “Join the Movement,” you are taken to an external form hosted on Monday.com, where you may voluntarily submit information such as your name, email address and country in order to receive updates about the programme. That form is provided by Monday.com and is also governed by their privacy practices.
Cookies and analytics
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website. The site stores one small preference in your browser’s local storage to remember whether you chose the light or night version of the page. That preference stays on your device, is not transmitted to us, and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.
Translation
The “Translate” control in the site header lets you read this page in other languages using Google Translate. Nothing is sent to Google unless you actively select Translate: the Google Translate service is only contacted after you choose to use it, at which point Google may set its own cookies and process the page content under Google’s privacy policy. If you never use the control, no connection to Google Translate is made.
Fonts
This site loads the Inter typeface from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google’s servers to retrieve the font files. If you would prefer fonts to be served directly from our own servers, contact us and we can arrange this.
How we use your information
Information you submit through the external waitlist form is used to send you updates about BeChangeMaker, including when applications open, and to communicate with prospective participants, mentors and partners. We do not sell personal data to third parties.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to processing, to receive a copy of your data, and to withdraw consent to future communications at any time. Every update email includes an unsubscribe option. To exercise any of these rights, or to ask a question about this policy, contact info@bechangemaker.global.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the programme develops. Material changes will be reflected on this page together with a revised “last updated” date.
